Machine Learning Engineer
Duties and Responsibilities
Bio Conscious is seeking a Machine Learning Engineer to join our team.
As a Machine Learning Engineer, you will build and maintain the algorithm for Diabits, our Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) blood glucose prediction technology. You will develop novel techniques to analyze and generate meaningful insights in additional disease sectors, such as hypertension.
Since we're a startup, what you do will change considerably from day to day. Some of your projects will include:

Research topics in diabetes and find ways to improve the Diabits algorithm

Research topics in other disease sectors and identify opportunities for development

Test different models and methods to improve and stress test the Diabits algorithm

Conduct data analysis to track trends in our users

Review novel datasets and generate insights

Publish papers for journals and conferences

Publish whitepapers on Diabits and its associated technologies
Requirements
A successful Machine Learning Engineer has the following skills, certifications and qualities:

Master's or PhD in quantitative field

Excellent programming skills
-
Proficiency with Python and SQL

Experience in supervised and/or unsupervised machine learning

Experience with AWS or similar platforms

Highly analytical and detail oriented
-
Capable of keeping thorough documentation
-
Excellent communicator (both verbal and written)
While relevant prior work experience is not required, preference will be given to those with more experience.
